NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Joanne

I've always been someone who could see the constellations in the stars. By that, I mean I see the whole picture, but also what's missing. It's an odd skill that is difficult to explain.

It's this ability to see patterns and possibilities that shapes the work we do. Whether I'm working with a CEO to develop an ambitious strategic plan or speaking to a theatre full of leaders at a conference, I help bring clarity to complexity and illuminate paths that were previously hard to see.

While I lead much of our work personally, I collaborate with a trusted circle of experienced practitioners who bring their own insight and expertise to each project.

OUR COMMITMENT

Truth and Reconciliation

As settlers who live and work in Treaty One territory and in communities that span the territories of Treaties One through Eleven and unceded territories across the lands of Canada, we are deeply aware of our responsibilities to listen to Truth and walk a path of Reconciliation that begins with re-education of ourselves. We have been gifted many teachings through generous interactions with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and Community members who have helped us better understand our place in history and our roles in walking a respectful path alongside Indigenous Peoples. While Joanne continues to learn about the shameful history of Canada, she is also working to reconcile her own family's participation in fostering children stolen from their families during the 60s scoop era. As a team, we are grateful for opportunities to build reciprocal relationships, are inspired to continue learning from those who hold our histories, and are committed to carrying the lessons of those stories forward to ensure we live, work, and support our clients in a good way.
